Global Director, Consumer Marketing & GTM

Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Consumer Marketing to lead our Go-To-Market efforts around the world.  This leader will be responsible for developing omni-channel integrated marketing plans, driving key product launch plans, GTM campaign strategy, as well as building and leading a team driving product and partner marketing.  You will be working with internal stakeholders like the product and sales teams as well as external partners like game publishers and retailers to find creative ways to reach the gaming community and position our products and brand for success. You will also work with various international counterparts across multiple key markets to help them align to and execute global marketing strategy.

This role will report directly to the Chief Digital and Marketing Officer and will be based in our headquarters in Chicago, IL. The ultimate candidate will thrive in and foster a fun and fast paced environment and have an entrepreneurial spirit and drive. You must have a passion for consumer electronics, the gaming world, and experience taking consumer products or services to market.

 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Integrated Product Marketing and Go-To-Market Plans across the customer Lifecyle and customer funnel for our full portfolio of products
  • Lead partner marketing and development of branded partnerships and co-marketing plans with retailers, game publishers and key consumer brands
  • Channel marketing and campaign development working with marcom teams (Email, Social, PR) as well as regional sales and retail leads
  • Recruit, develop and lead a product marketing and GTM team with best-in-class capabilities in gaming peripherals.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years leading consumer marketing efforts including launching new products and campaign planning in a consumer technology or ecommerce field.
  • Deep experience across various marketing skill sets (creative, branding, social media, PR, digital media, demand gen etc.)
  • Experience directly managing and developing successful marketing teams
  • Partner marketing experience building key partnerships and comarketing with external brands
  • Metrics and results-driven mindset with experience using analytics for tracking success
  • Strong project management and organizational skills working across various functions including marketing, sales, operations, finance, engineering, and more
  • Consumer hardware or gaming related experience a plus!
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills plus a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously is a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or related field required. MBA or Masters degree a plus
