Planning & Analytics Coordinator

SUMMARY:

As the SteelSeries Planning and Analytics Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and structuring content around brand, campaign, and community efforts across digital channels-specifically social media. Not only will you plan and organize content, but you will also be analyzing the performance of campaigns to better inform the Social and Community Team (along with the rest of the business) with actionable next steps and recommendations. You will be working within the Social and Community Team in an effort to plan and analyze activities happening across the business: product launches, seasonal campaigns, esports teams, influencers, game developers, retail, and more. We’re looking for an individual passionate about using planning and analytics to improve content strategies across the business to better build and amplify the SteelSeries brand.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead social media content planning and organization for campaigns: product launches, esports/influencers, seasonal, community, brand, etc.
  • Create dashboards and regularly analyze and report on the success of campaigns
  • Lead key workstreams from a content planning perspective
  • Oversee multiple projects within your workstream and across campaigns to ensure content planning and tracking are aligned
  • Build, maintain, and manage key relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Work closely with the Global Marketing Team to constantly improve content planning and tracking efforts

PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Very good communication skills, especially when interacting with different levels of business
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (no two days are the same!)
  • Confident, professional, and calm – works well under pressure
  • Organized and proactive
  • Multi-tasker with an initiative to act with needing direction from a manager
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the gaming industry, pop-culture, entertainment, topical trends, etc. a plus
  • Entrepreneurial experience/attitude a plus

VITAL FEWS / SUCCESS CRITERIA:

  • Owning a content calendar for all campaigns and initiatives
  • Measuring and curating analytics for all organic social media content
  • Understanding of gaming culture including but not limited to: trends, esports, influencers, products, game developers
